So all you men out there, with Neha Dupia, Mugdha Godse calling, you will experience Gillette Mach 3 atleast once for sure. Such will be the power of the campaign and i admire the way this campaign has been planned. When i saw the TVCs i did not pay much attention to the details nor the campaign bit, till i read it in CT. What better way than this perfect PR opportunity for the brand to reach out to the TG.

For long, i have always wondered on the understanding of PR beyond press releases and X xX column coverages. This will be a classic case study on what a well thought out PR campaign can do to a brand. A creative thought of a survey, an intelligent use of the survey results and voila...Shave India Movement.

After all women prefer clean shaven looks , get one right now.

A byline story in the front page - at what cost?

I have been wanting to vent out my feelings on this topic for quite some time, happy am able to do it now. When Times launched in Chennai, i was one of those many / few whatever the case may be, who was really excited and became a regular reader. But when i read this particular newsarticle titled "Commandos strike through stormwater drains" which made the front page of TOI, my blood was boiling and the feeling was one of anger and frustration. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Chennai/In_the_pipeline_Commando_strike_through_stormwater_drains_/articleshow/3847830.cms I have nothing against the journalist, but what prompted me to react was the story. How can a strategy which our commandos will adopt be made so public that too as a story of that prominence. Well you may call it freedom of expression? but at what cost????????? (Want to write more on this topic but would reserve it for now)

Hold your thoughts there! Yes, you read the title right, but probably the inference is not what you think!!
